2. Make your deposit. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 will hold your. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the start date of the Challenge.

The Pura Vida Experience

Event includes:

6 night hotel accommodation at a local, tropical lodge. We have access to beautiful properties, filled with tropical gardens, open green space, exotic birds, and comfortable private lodges. All athletes will have access to high-speed Wifi, a private bedroom and private bath.

Contact us if you are interested in sharing a room for a discount, or you will be traveling with someone who does not want to participate in the Challenge and would like to share a room.
Check in is Friday afternoon and check out is Thursday morning.

Pura Vida Charity Celebration - it's the reason for the event, the reason we ride. This event takes place after our Tuesday morning ride (Stage 4), and it brings deep meaning and connection to our diverse group. This is truly a difference maker for those who are a little less fortunate, and you'll experience the impact firsthand. The charity event takes place at "El Bunker", the cycling clubhouse that supports our local friends who live and work in the community.
5 of the most amazing and fulfilling bike rides you've ever completed. We ride Saturday - Wednesday, most athletes fly in Friday and leave the following Thursday. If you are interested in coming in early or extending your stay, please contact us. Each daily ride will include accomplished local cyclists/guides who escort our group, maintain safety, and provide support.
Airport pick-up and drop off. San Jose International Airport (SJO) is 15 mins away and we will coordinate pick-up and drop-off.

Food: Daily breakfast made to order (we work with all dietary requirements). Traditional Costa Rican breakfast typically consists of eggs, rice and beans ("gallo pinto"), fresh tropical fruits, coffee, and homemade smoothies ("batidos"). You'll also receive a delicious post ride meal, prepared by local legend and long time friend, Norman. Relax after your ride, and enjoy a post-ride lunch, cooked to order, made from organic ingredients sourced at the farmer's markets.
Event Celebration: A celebratory dinner with a mix of our local riders, local support team, local chefs, and longtime friends. It's a great way to unwind from 5 days of epic riding, share stories, photos, and videos, and give thanks to the community that helped make the event so special. (salsa dancing lessons available too!)
Support: Daily ride support vehicle which will provide mechanical support, first aid, and transport your extra gear/nutrition and bike if needed. They know the routes extremely well and will be able to provide any support you may need, even if it's just a quick 5 minute break.
